Senior Advisor, Landscape Architecture & Planning

Ana Maria Demo is an internationally recognized leader in landscape architecture and planning, credited with pioneering and institutionalizing the profession in Argentina and Latin America. In recognition of her lifelong contributions to the field, she was a finalist in 2019 for the Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Award, the highest honor bestowed by the International Federation of Landscape Architects. Ana is the former President of CAAP (Argentine Center of Landscape Architects) and ULAP (Latin American Union of Landscape Architects), representing Argentina in global forums and advocating for the profession’s growth.  She is also credited with founding South America’s first university institute dedicated exclusively to landscape architecture at the Catholic University of Córdoba, where she trained generations of future landscape architects and shaped the regional discourse on ecological design.

Over the course of her career, Ana has led numerous large-scale planning and design projects across Argentina and internationally, including urban redevelopments, conservation initiatives, and hospitality landscapes. She continues to bridge academia with private practice, applying decades of expertise to projects that range from public infrastructure to high-end resorts and wineries.

Ana holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and pursued specialized studies in Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon.
