Katy’s decision to become a landscape architect was driven by her desire to positively shape the built environment and influence how people experience the world. Through her designs, Katy seeks to develop solutions that capitalize on a site’s unique features culminating in a built project that is unique and authentic. She strives to understand each client’s needs and how to best realize their vision.

Katy started her career with EDSA Inc., in their Santa Monica, Baltimore, Shanghai, and Fort Lauderdale offices spending 13 years on master planning and design projects spanning a wide range of scale and scope both domestic and international. In life and career, Katy is driven by a desire to continually explore and learn and to gain new inspiration to ensure that she is well-equipped to approach any challenge.

Katy holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Oklahoma State University and is a Licensed Landscape Architect in the States of California, Michigan, and Massachusetts.
